StarTech NLAQ Series Ethernet Cable, 7.5m Cable Length, 27AWG Wire Gauge - NLAQ-750-CAT6A-PATCH

This ethernet cable provides screened Cat6a connectivity for 10GBASE‑T networks, designed to transmit data and deliver power to PoE devices. It uses four stranded conductor pairs with individual shielding and a braid to reduce electromagnetic interference, and its low smoke zero halogen jacket makes it suitable for installations where reduced toxic emissions are required. The cable is intended for use between switches, NAS units, SFP modules and powered network devices in confined or poorly ventilated spaces.

Features and Benefits:

• 10 Gbps data rate supports high-throughput connections
• 500MHz bandwidth improves signal integrity
• 100W PoE++ delivery powers demanding devices
• 27 AWG stranded copper ensures consistent conductivity
• S/FTP screened construction reduces EMI in dense racks

Applications

• Suitable for connecting 10 G switches and NAS units
• Can be used for powering IEEE 802.3bt Type 4 devices
• Used with IP cameras in enclosed installations
• Ideal for access point cabling in transport interiors
• Suitable for short runs within data centre racks

What conductor materials are used in the cable?

It uses Pure bare copper stranded conductors for each pair.

How is each pair shielded to protect against interference?

Each pair is wrapped in aluminium‑mylar foil and the cable includes a tinned copper braid.

What temperatures can the cable operate within?

The operating range is 0°C to 50°C.

How is connector corrosion and contact integrity addressed?

Connectors are plated with 50 microinches of gold to maintain contact quality.

What testing standards verify the cable's performance?

Individual cables are tested with a Fluke DSX2‑8000 and verified to ANSI/TIA‑568.2‑D.
