StarTech NLAQ Series Ethernet Cable, 3M Cable Length, Aqua Jacket - NLAQ-3M-CAT6A-PATCH

This Ethernet cable provides screened Cat6a connectivity for high-speed network links and PoE power delivery. It is intended for 10GBASE-T installations where electromagnetic shielding and reduced combustion emissions are required. The lead uses stranded copper conductors with a flame-retardant LSZH jacket suitable for enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces and supports up to 100W PoE for powered devices.

Features and Benefits:

• 10Gbps data rate enabling high-throughput connections
• 500MHz bandwidth reducing signal interference
• 27AWG stranded copper lowering electrical resistance
• S/FTP construction enhancing EMI protection
• LSZH jacket emitting low toxic fumes in fires

Applications

• Suitable for connecting 10G switches and NAS systems
• Used with PoE++ access points and IP cameras
• Ideal for screened links in industrial environments
• Can be used for on‑board installations in self-contained vehicles
• Used for routing through confined building spaces

What conductor material and type does it use?

It uses Pure bare copper conductors with stranded construction.

How is the cable screened to mitigate interference?

Each twisted pair is wrapped in aluminium‑mylar foil with an overall tinned copper braid.

What temperature range is acceptable for operation?

The operating range is 0°C to 50°C.

What connector plating and design features are included?

Connectors are 50‑micro gold plated and feature a snagless design with strain reliefs.

How has performance been validated?

Each cable is individually tested with a Fluke DSX2‑8000 CableAnalyser and ETL verified for Cat6a.
