Duratec 750® Insulation Board
Duratec 750® is a strong hydraulically pressed, asbestos free, calcium silicate insulating board in plate, bar and rod form.
Mechanically strong with good impact strength
Will withstand thermal cycling without cracking/breaking. (Should be dried by heating @ 150°C for up to 24hr.)
Can be machined to a good finish without chipping or breaking using standard tools
Resists most alkalis and solvents
Electrically insulating - good arc resistance and anti-tracking properties
Easy to cut and shape
Flame retardant
High chemical and solvent resistance
High resistance to thermal shock
Temperatures up to 1000°C
Density 1400 kg/m3
Thermal Conductivity 0.57 (at 200°C) 0.49 (at 400°C)
