Eaton Residual Current Circuit Breaker With Overcurrent Protection, 2 Poles - PXK XPOLE Series - PXK-C16/1N/003-A

This residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection (RCBO) from Eaton protects both operators and equipment from short circuits and current overloads. When the device detects a fault, it automatically disconnects the electricity supply to prevent serious electrocutions and damage. It manages surges and trip currents of between five and 10 times its rated load, to instantly interrupt power supplies. Excellent thermal stability enables you to use this RCBO with high-powered industrial electrical equipment like heavy-duty motors.

• Test button to ensure the RCBO is in good working order

• Corrosion-resistant casing protects internal wiring from corrosives and moisture

• High insulation isolates internal electrical faults to prevent fire hazards and enhance safety

• DIN rail mounting style for simple installation in standard systems

• Compact dimensions of 80 (L) x 75 (H) x 35mm (W) so won't place strain on your setup or take up much space

How does an RCBO detect an earth leakage?

An RCBO combines the functions of an RCD (residual current device) and an MCB (miniature circuit breaker). The RCD function detects earth leakages caused by faulty insulation or equipment and trips the power.
