Igus JSM-1214-08 Plain Bearing

iglidur^® J plain bearings may be used for long-life applications, and are also suitable for use with soft shafts. The iglidur^® J plain bearings are designed to provide the lowest coefficient of friction while running dry, and offer a low stick-slip tendency.

iglidur^® J plain bearings are not suitable for use where a maximum permissible surface pressure of 35 MPa may occur, where high pressures may be present, where there are short-term temperature increases (above 120°C), or applications where a low-cost bearing for occasional movement is required.

The Igus J series plain bearing with a flange are standard bearings for shafts with h-tolerance (recommended minimum h9). The bearings are designed for press-fitting in a housing with H7 tolerance. After the bearing has been installed in a housing with nominal dimensions, the inner diameter of the bearing automatically adjusts itself in accordance with the specified E10 tolerance.
