Eaton xEffect MCB, 3P, 10A Curve C, 400V AC, 10 kA Breaking Capacity

The FAZ series of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs) from Eatons xEffect range has a current limiting design providing fast short-circuit interruption that reduces the let-through electrical energy and overload currents that can damage the circuit.

Ideally suited to control circuits and electrical distribution boards the FAZ series of MCBs offer a wide range of diverse protection characteristics, protecting your electrical equipment against overload damage. For additional safety, the MCB breaker cannot be defeated by holding the handle in the ON position, these MCBs are also finger proof and have a trip-free mechanism.

These MCBs have both a thermal and electromagnetic release, with rated currents of 0.16 A up to 63 A and a switching capacity of 15kA or 10kA depending on the device type.

The FAZ series includes miniature circuit breakers, interlocks, busbars and snap-on accessories including auxiliaries and tripping modules.

IEC 60947-2 Relates to Low Voltage Circuit Breakers for use in industrial and similar installations. In the UK these are traditionally known as miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), moulded case circuit breakers
(MCCBs) and also air circuit breakers (ACBs).

This model has tripping type C that trips instantly at a rate of five to ten times its rated current. Breaking capacity 10kA current rating 10 A with 3-pole, guide for secure terminal connection, 3-position DIN rail clip, permits removal from existing busbar system.

This MCB has recessed terminals to prevent fingers accidentally touching the contact points. In addition, the toggles can't be held in the 'on' position to override a fault.
