Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range, 40μm Filtration Size - MSB6-1/2:J1:F3-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233023

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air for industrial pneumatic systems by combining filtration, pressure regulation and a manual condensate drain. It is designed for use with compressed Air and inert gases compliant with ISO 8573-1:2010 and operates across a wide ambient and media temperature range. The unit includes an integrated pressure gauge port and is intended for vertical mounting with a mounting bracket.

Features and Benefits:

• 0.5 to 12 bar regulation range provides steady downstream pressure control
• 4200 L per minute maximum flow supports high-demand supply lines
• 40μm filtration removes particulate to protect downstream valves
• Polycarbonate bowl with plastic guard allows Visual condensate inspection
• G1/2 pneumatic ports enable straightforward G thread system integration

Applications

• Suitable for feeding industrial valves and actuators
• Ideal for workshop compressed Air distribution mains
• Used with pneumatic control panels requiring pressure stability
• Can be used for inert gas preparation in test rigs
• Suitable for systems requiring manual condensate management

What is the maximum admissible inlet pressure?

The unit accepts operating pressures up to 18 bar.

Which drain arrangement does it use and what is its capacity?

It uses a manual rotating drain with a maximum condensate volume of 38 ml.

Which materials contact the airstream and seals?

The housing is die-cast aluminium, the bowl is Makrolon® polycarbonate, and Seals are NBR.

How is the device mounted and positioned during operation?

It is supplied for bracket mounting and intended to be fitted vertically within ±5°.

What corrosion and contamination standards apply to its use?

It meets CRC2 corrosion class and conforms to LABS (PWIS) VDMA24364-B1/B2-L.
