Festo Series MS Filter Regulator, 40μm Filtration Size, 0.50 to 12 bar Pressure Setting Range - MSB6-3/8:C3:J1-WP, Numeric Part Number: 8233034

This filter regulator conditions compressed Air for pneumatic systems, combining particle removal with pressure control. It is designed for industrial environments where maintaining a stable output pressure and acceptable Air purity is required. The unit accepts inlet pressures up to 20 bar and delivers a regulated output across a wide adjustable span while providing a visible pressure indication and Basic condensate management.

Features and Benefits:

• 40μm filtration providing particulate removal and component protection
• 0.5 to 12 bar pressure setting range enabling flexible downstream control
• 3800 L/min maximum flow supporting high-volume pneumatic circuits
• Polycarbonate bowl with manual drain allowing easy condensate evacuation
• G3/8 ports and G 3/8 pressure gauge port enabling standard connections

Applications

• Suitable for feeding pneumatic actuators requiring steady pressure
• Ideal for machine tools with high Air consumption
• Used with inert gas supplies in test benches
• Can be used for general workshop Air preparation
• Suitable for systems operating in moderate corrosion environments

What ambient and media temperature limits apply?

The unit operates between -10°C and 60°C for both ambient and media temperatures.

How is condensate removed from the bowl?

Condensate is discharged manually via a rotating drain to control release volume.

What materials form the housing and bowl?

The housing is die-cast aluminium and the bowl is MADE from Makrolon® polycarbonate.

What flow and pressure parameters define operational capacity?

The device supports flows up to 3800 L/min and an operating pressure range from 0.15 MPa to 2 MPa.

Which Air quality and gas types are acceptable?

It accepts compressed Air to ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4] and inert gases, with lubricated operation permitted when required.
