Belden Blue Cat6a Ethernet Cable, 1.5A Current Rating, 500m Length - CAT6A Series - 2202ENH.00500

Connect computers and industrial devices to your network with this hardwearing Ethernet cable from Belden. As a Cat6a cable, it's capable of transmission rates up to 10Gbps at 500MHz frequency, which means it can send and receive large packets of data within a short time. Its bare copper conductors have low electrical resistance, so you can be sure of a reliable connection. This cable is an S/FTP (shielded with foiled twisted pairs) type, which means that its individual twisted pairs are wrapped in foil to prevent crosstalk and EMI for noiseless signal transmission.

Features & Benefits

• Voltage rating of 72V is suitable for low-voltage applications

• Wide operating temperature range of -30°C to +60°C for use in demanding conditions

• Cable length of 500m provides an ample supply for various jobs

• Low capacitance of 1600pF/m for high integrity signals

• Light bulk cable weight of 52kg/km so it's easy to handle

Applications

• TV and radio broadcast stations

• Data server banks

What's the difference between a Cat6 and Cat6a cable?

The main difference between a Cat6 and Cat6a cable is the transmission speed. While a Cat6 cable can handle a transfer speed of 1Gbps, a Cat6a cable is capable of up to 10Gbps.
