A cord end ferrule ratchet tool to suit ferrules 0.5 through to 6 mm. This ferrule crimp tool crimps ferrules with and without insulating plastic collars. Ferrule insertion is from the side. Pull-off figures are as follows: 0.25 mm2 = 15 N, 0.5 mm2 = 30 N, 0.75 mm2 = 30 N, 1.0 mm2 = 30 N, 1.5 mm2 = 40 N, 2.5 mm2 = 50 N, 4.0 mm2 = 50 N, 6.0 mm2 = 60 N
