RS PRO 15W/m Trace Heating Cable Constant Wattage, Parallel Circuit, 240 V, 50 m
Water expands as it freezes, which can cause substantial damage and expense to pipework if it bursts. This trace heating cable from our RS PRO range works to maintain the internal temperature of pipes, preventing bursting, blockages and external snow build-up.
Using a fixed resistance filament to provide its heat load, this constant-wattage cable administers controllable heat to combat no-flow conditions in pipes. It can be cut to length from its reel and site-terminated to suit pipework up to 50 metres in length. Constant-wattage cables require temperature controls for efficiency and safety. They can be simply installed to work with thermostats or temperature monitoring devices.
Suitable for internal and external freeze protection as well as temperature maintenance, this cable can be used everywhere from hazardous industrial zones to domestic garages. It has an operating range -60°C to 200°C and comes in a durable sheath of silicone rubber.

RS PRO Silicone Insulated Parallel Circuit Heating Tape
RS PRO range of parallel circuit heating tape, with a constant wattage output for process temperature maintenance applications. This tape is flexible enough to allow it to be spiralled around a suitable pipe or vessel. The heating tape consists of several short heating zones each connected across a pair of continuous bus-wire conductors.
