RS PRO SCR Solid-State Relays - Direct Copper-Bonded
RS PRO is proud to introduce a high-performing range of solid-state relays with SCR outputs. SCR stand for silicon-controlled rectifier. During application, the device detects the input signal and generates a gate voltage to trigger the SCR which starts the current flow through the output circuit. These SCR solid-state relays switch high-power loads rapidly and reliably without any mechanical wear or arc formation. Our direct copper-bonded, high-power panel mount relays are widely used in high-power industrial switching applications such as control of heaters, motors, solenoids, lighting, and microcontroller-based systems.
Why Would You Choose These SCR Solid-State Relay?
SCR solid-state relays offer other benefits such as silent operation, high switching speeds, and improved efficiency. They are less prone to electromagnetic interference and have better resistance to shock and vibration compared to electromechanical relays. SSR switching is preferred due to its high reliability and long life in an electrically harsh environment. 50 A, 75 A and 90 A and 125 A ratings are offered for 480 V and 600 V applications.
