The Hamamatsu Photonics MS series are thumb-sized spectrometer heads developed for installation into mobile measurement equipment by merging our MEMS and image sensor technologies. The MS series uses a CMOS image sensor integrated with a light receiving slit. The internal optical system is comprised of a convex lens on which a grating is formed by nanoimprint.
