The SKF MD-L seal is compact, double-acting piston seal. It has a nitrile rubber sealing ring with a polyester elastomer anti-extrusion ring and polyacetal guide ring on the both side. The anti-extrusion ring provide improved high pressure performance by reducing the likelihood of gap extrusion. The integral guide ring do not require additional external piston guide ring. The anti-extrusion and guide ring is split for easy installation.
