Eaton Residual Current Circuit Breaker With Overcurrent Protection, 1+N Poles - PXK-C Series - PXK-C16/1N/003-A

This Eaton RCBO (residual current circuit breaker with overcurrent protection) provides effective protection against earth fault currents, current overloads and short circuits. The unit combines RCD (residual current device) and MCB (miniature circuit breaker) functionality to detect current imbalances and cut the power supply. This enhances workplace safety and protects personnel from electrocution and equipment from damage. Its type-C tripping characteristic means this RCBO can handle between five and ten times its rated current, so you can use it confidently in commercial and industrial applications.

• UV-protected (ultraviolet) casing makes the device robust and protects it from damage caused by direct sunlight

• 30mA high trip sensitivity means it rapidly cuts power, to prevent the risk to operators of prolonged electric shocks

• IP20 (ingress protection) prevents contact with open wires and protects against corrosive particles

Does an RCBO trip neutral circuits?

Yes – an RCBO, like this one from Eaton, trips both live and neutral circuits. It's advisable to check the specifications of an RCBO before purchase to ensure it's suitable for your application.
