PicoScope 2000 Series Oscilloscope, 70MHz Bandwidth, 1ns/div Time Base - PicoScope 2407B

This oscilloscope is a Compact USB‑powered PC‑based instrument designed for signal visualisation and debugging in laboratory and field settings. It connects via USB and supports a range of serial protocols for direct interfacing with vehicle networks, embedded systems and serial devices, enabling waveform capture and analysis on a host computer without a separate display.

Features and Benefits:

• 70MHz bandwidth for capturing mid‑frequency signals
• 1ns/div minimum timebase for fine time‑domain resolution
• 8‑bit vertical resolution for clear amplitude representation
• 4mV/div minimum sensitivity for detecting small signals
• 5ns rise time for resolving fast signal edges

Applications

• Suitable for vehicle network troubleshooting with CAN and LIN
• Ideal for embedded sensor verification using I2C and SPI
• Used with serial devices employing RS232 and UART links
• Can be used for portable data capture powered by USB
• Suitable for lab measurements requiring PC‑based analysis

What interfaces are available for direct signal capture?

It provides CAN, I²C, LIN, RS232, SPI, UART and USB interfaces.

How is the device powered during field use?

It draws power from a host computer via its USB connection.

What compliance marks relate to material and environmental standards?

It meets REACH, RoHS and WEEE standards.

How many input channels can be measured simultaneously?

There are four independent input channels for concurrent waveform acquisition.
