RS PRO LAN Cable Tester

Introducing the RS PRO LAN Cable Tester, ideal for detecting openings, shorts, mis-wires or splits in network cabling that could cause disruption and downtime. It can easily and quickly troubleshoot and test multiple cables like UTP, STP, CAT5 and CAT6 cables and display the results on a wiremap graph on the backlit LCD screen. The RS PRO LAN cable tester is designed to identify and trace wires or cables within a group without damaging the insulation and can be used with any tone generator to identify wires.

Additional features of this cable tester include measuring cable length and using multiple remote ID numbers for up to 8 locations

The tester is powered by a 9 V AAA battery that offers approx. 200 instances of continuous testing, while the auto power off function and low battery indicator make it easy to manage the tester’s battery life
