Highlights include an on-board Cryptographic Engine, eXtreme Low Power (XLP) features, an LCD Display Controller and USB On-The-Go.

Of particular note is the Dual Partition Flash with Live Update Capability, this allows the MCU to hold two independent software applications (including boot loader). Furthermore this functionality allows the simultaneous programming of one partition while executing application code from the other.
