Install this 3-pole MCB from ABB to ensure your electrical circuit automatically switches off when faults occur. It uses an electromechanical and a thermal mechanism to provide both overload and short-circuit protection. The breaker has type-C tripping characteristics, meaning it instantly trips the circuit when it detects loads that are between five and ten times the rated current of 40A. As it's mountable in any position and works with AC and DC input voltages, it's a versatile option. It's also possible to mount an auxiliary contact on the bottom to save cabinet space.
