Belden Alpha Wire Hook-Up Wire, 16 Strands, 30m Length - EcoWire Series - 6715 BK005

This hook-up wire from Belden's Alpha Wire range is eco-friendly and high-performing. The easily recycled sheath is made from a modified polyphenylene ether (mPPE) thermoplastic. This is up to 45% thinner and lighter than PVC-sheathed alternatives without increasing resistance. The cable is ideal for applications where space-saving is needed without compromising on signal strength and speed.

Features & Benefits

• Rating of 600V protects your equipment against electrical surges

• Corrosion-resistant tinned copper conductor can withstand humid conditions

• mPPE contains no hazardous chemicals, minimising environmental impact

Applications

• Medical equipment

• Telecommunications

• Avionics industry

Is this cable as durable as a PVC-insulated hook up wire?

Yes. It has the same wide operating temperature range (-40°C to +105°C) as a PVC-sheathed hook-up wire but with increased resistance to abrasion and pinching.
