RS PRO Cat 5 Patch Cable
These RS PRO patch leads, also known as Ethernet patch cables are manufactured using Cat5 cables. They are electrical cables used to connect one electrical devise to another and are often set up as part of a local area network, connecting computers to one another, as well as to larger area networks enabling internet access.
They are foil twisted pairs (FTP), networking cables, which mean the copper wires are twisted together and covered with a foil shield which helps to reduce crosstalk, as well as any electromagnetic interference.
These RS PRO patch leads, are available in different colours, which makes identification of the cable easy. The patch cable is made up of several thin strands of copper wire, which offer flexibility when bent out of shape.
