StarTech NLWH Series Ethernet Cable, 3M Cable Length, White - NLWH-3M-CAT6A-PATCH

This Ethernet cable provides screened Cat6a connectivity for high-speed local networks. It is intended for 10GBASE-T links and PoE++ installations where reduced emissions and controlled combustion by-products are required. The cable uses stranded conductors and layered shielding to support data and powered devices in confined or poorly ventilated environments.

Features and Benefits:

• 10Gbps throughput supports high-bandwidth network transfers
• 500MHz bandwidth reduces signal degradation in dense networks
• 27AWG stranded copper lowers resistance for consistent transmission
• S/FTP screening mitigates electromagnetic interference for stable links
• LSZH jacket limits smoke and toxic gas output in enclosed spaces

Applications

• Suitable for connecting 10G switches to servers and NAS
• Used with PoE++ access points and high-power cameras
• Ideal for SFP modules and edge switch uplinks
• Can be used in on-premises network racks and cabinets

What conductor construction is used in the cable?

It uses four pairs of 27AWG stranded bare copper conductors.

How is electromagnetic interference reduced?

Each pair has aluminium-mylar foil and the overall cable includes a braided shield.

What temperature range can the cable tolerate during operation?

The operating range is 0°C to 50°C.

What connector plating and design features assist longevity?

The RJ45 connectors have 50-micro gold plating and snagless strain reliefs.

Is the cable compatible with older Ethernet categories?

It is backward compatible with Cat6 and Cat5/5e installations.
