StarTech NLBL Series Ethernet Cable, 7m Cable Length, 27AWG Conductor Size - NLBL-7M-CAT6A-PATCH

This shielded Cat6a cable provides a high-speed network link for 10GBASE-T environments while maintaining safe installation requirements. It combines foiled and braided pair shielding with stranded copper conductors and a Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket to deliver high-frequency data transfer and reduced emission risk in enclosed spaces. The cable is fitted with snagless gold-plated RJ45 plugs and strain reliefs for secure terminations.

Features and Benefits:

• 10Gbps throughput supports demanding network bandwidth needs
• 500MHz frequency reduces interference for high-data applications
• 27AWG stranded copper improves conductivity and flexibility
• S/FTP screening minimises EMI for noisy electrical environments
• LSZH jacket emits low toxic fumes during combustion

Applications

• Suitable for connecting 10G switches and SFP modules
• Ideal for PoE++ devices requiring up to 100W power delivery
• Used with NAS units for low-latency data transfers
• Can be used for IP Camera feeds in enclosed venues
• Appropriate for routed cabling in tight, ventilated spaces

What shielding arrangement is used to protect signals?

Each twisted pair is wrapped in aluminium-mylar foil with an overall braided shield providing S/FTP screening.

Which connector plating ensures consistent contact quality?

The RJ45 plugs feature 50-micro gold plating to reduce contact wear and signal degradation.

What temperature range can it operate within?

The cable functions between 0°C and +50°C for normal operating conditions.

How has performance been verified?

Individual cables were tested using an industry cable analyser and are ETL verified for Cat6a performance.
