StarTech Ethernet Cable, 10m Cable Length, 24AWG Conductor Size - N6LPATCH10MBL

This Cat6 LSZH Ethernet cable provides multi‑gigabit network connectivity and reduced‑smoke fire behaviour for use in on‑premises and edge deployments. It is designed to connect network interfaces, servers, switches, PoE devices and VoIP equipment while supporting high‑power PoE and extended bandwidth transmission. The cable uses stranded copper conductors and a snagless connector design for installations in constrained pathways.

Features and Benefits:

• 10GBase‑T support up to 55m for multi‑gigabit links
• 250MHz frequency for increased data throughput
• 100W PoE capacity complying with IEEE 802.3bt Type 4
• 24 AWG stranded copper for improved flexibility and heat dissipation
• Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket for reduced toxic emissions

Applications

• Suitable for connecting servers to switches in wiring cupboards
• Ideal for powering PoE laptops and IP cameras at distance
• Used with NAS and storage systems requiring high bandwidth
• Can be used for VoIP phone installations in offices
• Suitable for cable runs through conduits and trunking

What is the conductor construction and why is it used?

It uses 24 AWG stranded copper pairs to balance flexibility with continuous power throughput and thermal dissipation.

How does the jacket material affect safety during a fire?

The LSZH jacket emits lower levels of corrosive fumes and white smoke, improving visibility for evacuation.

What testing and verification support performance claims?

Each cable was individually tested with a Fluke DSX2‑8000 CableAnalyser and has ETL verification to the ANSI/TIA‑568.2‑D Category 6 standard.

What connector protection does the cable feature for installation?

The snagless boot preserves the RJ45 latch and reduces damage when pulling through confined spaces.
