StarTech Ethernet Cable, 24AWG Conductor, Blue Jacket - N6LPATCH50CMBL

This Ethernet cable provides a short, high-performance link for multi‑gigabit networks. It is a Cat6 U/UTP patch lead with a PVC-free LSZH jacket designed for environments where reduced smoke and corrosive fumes are required. The cable supports modern network devices and power delivery over Ethernet while operating across typical data centre and office temperatures.

Features and Benefits:

• 250MHz bandwidth supports high-throughput data transfers
• 100W PoE capability enables powered devices without adapters
• 24AWG stranded copper reduces heat under continuous power
• Snagless boots protect connectors during installation
• 6mm outer diameter improves cable handling and routing

Applications

• Suitable for connecting NICs to switches in wiring closets
• Ideal for linking PoE cameras to distribution switches
• Used with VoIP phones in managed office deployments
• Can be used for short runs between servers and patch panels
• Suitable for NAS connectivity in multi‑gigabit setups

What conductor construction does it use?

It uses stranded 24AWG Pure copper twisted pairs, providing flexibility in short patch runs.

How is safety improved in confined spaces?

The Low Smoke Zero Halogen jacket emits less toxic fumes and reduced white smoke during combustion.

What connector plating and protection are fitted?

Connectors use gold-plated contacts and a snagless boot with moulded strain relief for clip protection.

Is the cable screened or unscreened?

The cable is unscreened U/UTP construction, suitable where EMI control is not required.

What operating temperatures does it tolerate?

It operates between 0°C and 80°C.
