RS PRO Heating Element, 1.2 kW


Do you need to heat liquids stored in metal or plastic drums? This heating element from the RS PRO series has easy-to-use quick-release buckles that can be easily adjusted to fit different-sized barrels.

The element has a jacket-style design and is ideally suited for warming oils, fats and foodstuffs in containers. They can be used to reduce the viscosity of materials such as soaps, varnishes and chemicals to thin them down for easier pumping or pouring. The heating element can fit drums sized between 25 litres and to 200 litres. Temperature is regulated through an in-built capillary thermostat, which has a maximum operating temperature of +90°C and provides excellent heat insulation due to its Teflon coating.

As part of the RS PRO range, this heating element has been stringently tested it to make sure it's safe, durable and of consistently high quality. It's used in food production or manufacturing situations.
