How does a contactor work?

A contactor works by changing the state of the internal contacts. When its electromagnetic coil receives energy or is de-energised, it causes the contacts to open or close, turning the circuit on or off.

What type of contactors can I use this interlock with?

This interlock is made for use with contactors from the LC1 range, so you can be sure of a precise fit.

Mechanical and Electrical Interlocks and Interlock Kits

Kits are for mechanically interlocking two identical contactors. Prevents the second contactor from pulling-in if the first is energised.
