The Microchip EV33X03A consist USB7252 4-port Gen2 Smart Hub Evaluation Board and EVB-USB7252 is a demonstration and evaluation platform that provides the necessary requirements and interface options for evaluating the USB7252, a 4-port SuperSpeed+ (SS+) USB Smart Hub™ IC on a 4-layer RoHS-compliant Printed Circuit Board (PCB). This allows the user to gain an understanding of the product and accelerate the integration of the USB7252 into the user’s design. The EVB-USB7252 is compliant with the USB 2.0 High-Speed (HS), Full-Speed (FS), and Low-Speed (LS) USB signalling. The EVB-USB7252 is also compliant with USB 3.2 Gen2 on the upstream port and on 3 of the downstream ports including two USB Type-C™ interfaces. The fourth downstream port only support USB2.0.The EVB-USB7252 platform also supports battery charging on all six downstream ports (maximum of 10A) at any one time.
