ITT Cannon Backshell

The ITT Cannon Trident Neptune series backshell is a circular connector with 16 shell size, membrane wire seal equipment. The connector body is made from black nylon material with nickel-plated copper alloy coupling ring and stainless steel bayonet pins. It accepts various combinations of signal (13A) and power (30A) contacts.
Neptune:
Based on the Trident Ringlok series, the Neptune range combines power and signal contacts. Widely used in automotive, marine and process control industries, it features a strong bayonet coupling system with standard and reversed pin/socket combinations. A wide selection of backshell accessories, rear housings and dust caps are available. To maintain IP67 rating the rear of the connectors have a rubber seal which is pierced upon contact insertion. The seal is held in place by a screw ring (as supplied) which may be replaced with the appropriate size backshell. For IP67 rating to be maintained, wire insulation diameters should be within the following diameters: Signal wires: 1.7 to 2.7mm, Power wires: 2.7mm to 4.0mm. The number of contacts shown as power/signal e.g. 2/13.
