It has been over 100 years since the introduction of the first commercial Transformer when the mass production began. Since then, many additional modifications we developed to support various applications, such as electromagnetic, relays, pumps or heating elements..
The functionality of the Isolation Transformer has a concept to provide galvanic isolation between the AC power lines (mains) and the connected device, meaning no a DC can cross between the windings.
Today, we are proudly introducing our own branded RS PRO Isolation Transformer with a screw connector for multiple input and brackets for screw fixation. The exceptional isolating property and safety of our Transformer provide step up or step down of line (mains) voltages while reducing the noise coming from the primary to secondary or opposite.
The Isolation Transformers supports different types of equipment, from testing power-related devices to medical isolation equipment. However, they must meet rigorous electrical requirements to make sure no leakage current is in place.
