The unique construction of the Scotch-Brite™ disc is made up of non-woven fibres and aluminium oxide abrasive making it tough and durable. Compared to traditional abrasives that quickly wear down when used, this discs high cut-rate, hardness, strength and low heat retention make aluminium oxide a popular choice.

Non-woven discs are highly flexible, so they easily conform to curved surfaces and fit in tight areas. This helps to ensure that you get an even finish on your workpiece.

The Roloc™ system from 3M™ provides a secure attachment on heavy duty applications. It allows for Roloc discs to be quickly swapped out from one application to another in seconds. The plastic threaded button or screw is designed to easily and quickly screw on a Roloc TR disc pad (75 mm backing pad - 456-2502).
