The handy block turns AC sine waves from your power supply and turns them into machine-readable binary signals. The output is a relay changeover contact with a quick 40ms response time, so you can use it to change between normal operations and safety systems, such as switching from general to emergency lighting.
As the unit has an adjustable switching hysteresis, you can select a switching point between 0 and 16A, so it'll work with your specific application.
