It consists of a probe that changes its electrical resistance in line with its temperature, along with two wires that can be connected to an external circuit or output device. What material is this RTD made from?
The sensor at the end of the probe is a thin platinum film. This provides a high level of stability and a linear change in resistance to temperature to ensure the measurements are as accurate as possible.
