AMPLIMITE D-Sub Crimp Ferrules for Braided Cable Shield
A range of AMPLIMITE crimp ferrules for use with braided cable shield on shielded cable clamps or backshells. These ferrules are available as tin plated brass inner ferrules, tin plated copper ferrules or aluminium split ring ferrules, please refer to table for details. The split ring ferrules are suitable for both foil and braided cable and cannot be used with outer and inner ferrules.
Note
For inner and outer ferrules the minimum O.D. is 1.27mm smaller than the maximum O.D. At the maximum cable O.D. the minimum insulation thickness is 4.52mm. For split-ring ferrules the minimum O.D. is 1.02mm smaller than the maximum O.D.
