The fan filter unit (FFU) known as a dust filter is an accessory used in fans and blowers. A typical filter consists of four parts, such as the outer cover or frame, filter pad, mesh screen and finger guard. Most fan filters have a 30 or 45 PPI rating. A 30 PPI foam relates to a coarse grade, and 45 PPI foam relates to fine grade.
