Hose Clips & Jubilee Clips
A Jubilee or Hose Clip is a circular band which can be tightened with a worm gears fixed to one end of the band. Tightening the screw reduces the diameter of the circle formed by the band causing the Jubilee clip to clamp tightly around the hose. They are primarily designed to hold hoses onto pipes. Originally made from stainless steel but are now available in brass, mild steel and Nylon.
Jubilee Clip is a brand name from a British Company, L Robinson & Co but has become synonymous with this method of fixing.
