UPower's light and comfortable men's KING safety shoes with aluminium toe caps are designed to protect the feet while working outdoors, on site, or in industrial environments, providing impact absorption of up to 200-joules and low sides for a combination of protection maximum movement capabilities. With a protection class rating of S3 SRC, these safety shoes from UPower's THE ROAR series are designed to protect the wearer from a multitude of environmental and site conditions and optimise user safety on site. Appropriate safety footwear is considered a PPE requirement to ensure optimum safety of employees as they carry out their relevant tasks.
The soft nubuck water resistant leather upper and Wingtex® lining work together to protect the feet from external moisture while still being breathable and comfortable. The aluminium safety toe cap benefits from UPower's Airtoe® Aluminium with breathable membrane, keeping the feet cool and comfortable without reducing protection, and Save & Flex PLUS® “nonmetal” pierce resistance gives the confidence of durability. The WOW footbed design and soft P.U. comfort inner layer provide cushioning to reduce muscle strain and ache throughout the working day, and the PU/PU LIGHT GRIP sole complete the shoes as versatile and adaptive work footwear that can be worn in a multitude of industrial environments.

Shoes within the SN20014 series meet the following safety ratings: meets EU regulations of EN ISO 20345:2011 and protection classes S3 SRC.
S3 protection includes toe protection against a 200-joule impact (SB), antistatic protection, resistance to fuel oil and has energy absorption in the heel (S1), water penetration prevention and absorption of the upper (S2) and midsole penetration resistance (S3).
SRC protection means these shoes are certified as non-slip on all materials covered by both SRA and SRB non-slip classifications: SRA covers ceramic tile wetted with sodium lauryl sulphate (diluted soap) and SRB covers steel with glycerol.
