This development kit provides engineers/ product developers with everything needed to test the ebm-papst VDC4915BK4.ECP63.3.85 brushless geared drive motor and Drive Studio programming GUI.

The VDC series of electronically commutated external rotor motors impress with their durability and excellent control properties. This kit provides an efficient, compact quiet and fully customisable drive solution for automated product development.

There are 6 alternative kits available and an

additional 9 "bolt on" drive motor/gearboxes each offering a different drive solution. The range covers a nominal power output from 100 – 356 Watts and torque from 24Ncm – 85Ncm with a variety planetary and 90 Degree crown gearboxes.

Safety


The K4 motor controller is designed to meet the requirements of ES1 (SELV) according to EN62368-1:2014. It is for use only as part of the development kit and not suitable to be incorporated into finished product. Only ebm-papst K4 development motors should be used with this controller.

Power Supply


A suitable isolated power supply (24v and/or 48v) with minimum 10A rated should be used.

DC Brushless Motors
