Omron Retroreflective Photoelectric Sensor, Block Sensor

Shine a light on moving objects with this photoelectric sensor from OMRON. It's a retroreflective type that acts as an emitter and receiver in one, simplifying your setup and reducing wiring. As it incorporates a polarised LED and an MSR function, it can reliably detect transparent, smooth and shiny items such as canned goods and clear bottles of liquid. Built with a stainless steel housing, the unit is rugged and easy to clean, especially as the body, seals and sensor cover are resistant to detergents and disinfectants. An IP69K rating tells you it's not troubled by high-pressure and high-temperature water jets, so you can safely sanitise production areas to meet hygiene requirements.

For convenience, you can use OMRON's E39 square (204-8860), round (254-3447) and self-adhesive (822-4544) reflectors with this sensor.
