Fluke Oscilloscope Battery Charger, Power Adaptor, For Use With ScopeMeter - PM8907/830

This oscilloscope battery charger supplies mains power and recharges batteries for ScopeMetre instruments and selected power analysers. It converts local line voltage to a regulated 15V output via a 5mm power jack, enabling instrument operation from the mains while replenishing portable unit batteries. The adapter is suitable for a range of regional supply voltages and accepts conventional mains leads or included regional plug adaptors.

Features & Benefits

• 15V output provides stable supply for measurement instruments
• 300 mA maximum current supports battery charging and operation
• 5mm DIN45323 power jack ensures secure connection to equipment
• 50–60 Hz frequency tolerance allows global mains compatibility
• 600 Vrms maximum voltage-to-earth rating improves site safety
• 10 VA power consumption keeps supply load predictable

**Applications**

• Suitable for mains-powered operation of ScopeMetre handheld instruments
• Ideal for charging batteries in portable oscilloscopes during bench use
• Used with power quality analysers that accept 15V input
• Can be used in test vans requiring Compact power adaptors
• Used for field service tasks where continuous instrument operation is needed

Which mains voltages can it accept for international use?

Versions are specified for regional mains, covering nominal inputs including 100 V, 115 V, 120 V, 230V and 240V with defined tolerances to match local supplies.

What connector type is required on the instrument side?

The unit uses a 5mm power jack conforming to DIN45323 for the DC connection.

How does the adapter handle line frequency variations?

It operates across a 50–60 Hz range with a ±10% tolerance to accommodate typical frequency deviations.

What safety classification applies to maximum working potential?

The adapter is rated for up to 600 Vrms to earth under CAT III conditions per applicable standards.

Are any additional cables provided for local wiring?

A regional plug adaptor for North America is included while a suitable mains lead must be supplied to match local outlet requirements.
