The DS7 is a fully integral part of xStart and all existing components can be used.
Designed for normal applications such as pumps, fans and small conveyors, the compact DS7 is ideal. The DS7 is also available with SmartWire-DT connection to simplify wiring and enhance functionality as an automation solution

This soft-start controller from Eaton limits current inrush to protect a motor from damage caused by sudden power influxes. Its variable ramp times and torque control settings provide unlimited starting configurations make it a versatile choice. The controller's smart design includes a soft-stop feature, which allows for the controlled stopping of a load. Its bypass contactor directly connects a motor to a line for reduced internal power loss and improved system efficiency. This soft starter is an ideal option for controlling water pumps in wastewater management systems.
