The high performance XLamp XM-L2 LED builds on the original XM-L series of LEDs. Utilising Crees SC3 Silicon Carbide technology platform, the single-die XM-L2 LED provides very high efficacy and lumen output at high drive currents (up to 3A). Sharing the same 5 x 5mm footprint, XM-L2 LEDs are compatible with existing XM-L LEDs; they can easily be designed into existing XM-L LED projects to increase lumen output without the necessity of changing LED drivers or secondary optics. Or can be used to decrease the number of LEDs used in a design to lower costs without reducing light output or quality.
Designed for functions requiring very high lumen output, the XM-L2 LEDs very high drive current and efficacy make them ideal for use in applications such as: LED light bulbs, indoor lighting, high-bay lighting and outdoor lighting.
