LEMO Circular Connector, 2 Contacts, Cable Mount, Plug, Male, IP50, 0S Series

From Lemo, this S series of Multipole Circular Connectors features a push-pull self-latching connector system to ensure a secure mating that is resistant to vibration and shock.

Featuring push-pull self-latching technology, this enables fast and simple connecting and dis-connecting. LEMO's self-latching enables connectors to be mated simply by pushing plugs axially together in to the socket, this ensures that the connectors cannot be unmated by pulling on the cable. Disconnection is achieved by pushing on the outer release sleeve, making a safer more stable connection. A straight body design assists in the prevention of cable strain also.

Designed for indoor use it has an ingress protection of IP50 which is vacuum tight when mated. The housing material is made from chrome plated brass for wear and corrosion resistance. Contact material is brass with gold over nickel plating which offers durability and an ability to perform at high temperature ranges.
