RS PRO D-Sub Connector Dust Cover
If you're looking for an easy, inexpensive way to protect valuable equipment from static and dust, the RS PRO D-Sub Connector dust cover offers just that. Simply push-fit it onto any 25-pin female D-Sub terminal when the device is idling.
This ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) plastic dust cover has a rating of UL 94 V0. That means it's flame-retardant and will burn for less than 10 seconds. The nickel-coated internal electromagnetic interference/radio frequency interference (EMI/RFI) shielding creates a protective enclosure around the terminal to block signals. Like all products in the RS PRO family, this cover is rigorously tested for quality and complies with both British and EU electrostatic discharge standards.
This D-sub connector accessory is an effective shield for electronic components, peripherals and other accessories from static and damage, as well as interference and dust.
