Product Details
RS PRO 50Ω Straight Cable Mount BNC Connector, Plug, RG58
This BNC connector is designed for use with an RG-58 coaxial cable. It has an easy-to-terminate crimp cable design and uses a secure bayonet coupling system for easy connections and reliable signals.
With a nickel-plated body and gold-plated contact on the centre pin, this connector provides reliable conductivity over a long period of time. It employs easy-to-use connection methods, including a crimp termination that requires only a crimping tool to compress the connector onto an appropriate cable. The bayonet coupling system uses a twist-and-snap method to secure wires with ease. This connector features insulation made from PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene), so it can withstand demanding environmental conditions. Not only is it hydrophobic, but it's also able to operate at temperatures from -20°C to +60°C.
This BNC connector is commonly used in RF signal applications for radio and television broadcasts. It can also be used for medical and test equipment.
