RS PRO PA12 White NYLON 3D Printer Filament, 1.75 mm, 500 g
This PA12 NYLON filament from our RS PRO range prints strong and durable objects with your 3D printer. It's easy to use and is compatible with most desktop 3D printers. You can use a heated plate to improve adhesion during printing and to prevent warping while your object cools. The filament will bond with masonite, poplar wood and blue painter's tape for your component assembly needs, but it doesn't bond with glass.
PA12 NYLON is a polyamide filament that's known for its superior chemical resistance, ultraviolet (UV) resistance and sheer strength. It's an excellent choice for the automotive and engineering industries where robust components are essential. Because PA12 NYLON is a low-friction and wear-resistant material, it's especially suited to applications involving interlocking gears.
Although PA12 filament has low water absorption, it's a good idea to store it in a dry place or with a dehumidifier, because it can absorb moisture over time. This can cause issues such as bubbling when it's time to print.
