Hirose ZX Series Micro-USB 2.0 Plug Connectors

ZX series Micro-USB 2.0 plug connectors with a compact design and high reliability. These ZX series Micro-USB plugs are 60% smaller than standard mini USB connectors but still allow a high-speed data transfer of 480 Mbps specified in USB 2.0. An active latch mechanism provides a reliable and durable connection providing a tactile click when mating is complete. A smooth mating and unmating operation with a withdrawal force of 8 N results in reduced wear and prolongs the life of the connector. 10000 cycles of mating and unmating operations can be achieved. These ZX series Micro-USB 2.0 plug connectors have Micro-B interface configurations and are available in PCB, cable and cradle mounting styles. All these plugs (apart from part number ZX80-B-5SA(31)) are supplied as assemblies which include an insulator, contacts and a lock. Covers for these ZX series Micro-USB 2.0 plug connectors can also be purchased separately.
