This cable supports USB 2.0 protocol standard that allows for a high speed data transfer up to 480 Mbps. What is a USB Mini-USB Connector?

A Mini USB connector is much smaller than a USB Type A and B (about two thirds the width of an A style connector). The USB Mini B connector socket is found in digital cameras, external hard drives, PDAs and other USB equipment allowing them to be connected to a host PC such as a desktop, laptop or tablet. The Mini B plug connector is compatible with both the USB Type 2.0 Mini B and AB receptacle.

How does a USB Cable Work?

A USB cable allows digital data to be transferred from a peripheral device to a host PC. The cable consists of four wires that are used separately for transferring power and data.
