Honeywell Bimetallic Thermostatic Switch, 250V AC, +140°C Opening Temperature - 2455R Series - 2455R-0820386
Use this open-on rise thermostat from Honeywell to control the temperature in sensitive environments. The switch's contacts open when the temperature reaches +140°C and close again when heat levels fall to +125°C. This allows you to easily and automatically keep the temperature within acceptable limits, eliminating the need for manual intervention. The rigid phenolic body material makes it a durable component that resists corrosion and wear for use in harsh industrial environments.

What's the difference between open-on-rise and close-on-rise thermostatic switches?
These terms refer to the operation of the contacts. Open-on-rise means the circuit will remain complete until a predetermined high temperature is reached, at which point electricity will stop running through the circuit. Conversely, close-on-rise means that a predetermined low temperature must be met in order to close the circuit and activate the thermostat.
