Flame-Retardant Fibre Thermal Insulation, 595 mm x 495 mm x 10 mm
Do you need a rigid insulation board for industrial applications? This board is made from low bio-persistent insulation wool combined with organic and inorganic binders. It's suitable for use at ultra-high temperatures of up to +1150ºC.
Available in sheets measuring 595 mm x 495 mm, the rigid board can be easily die-cut or shaped with a hacksaw blade. This lets you create precise insulation blocks matched exactly to your needs. Delivering excellent thermal-shock resistance, this material is ideal for use in applications experiencing significant temperature variations. The panels meet the requirements under Note Q of European Regulation 1272/2008, so they are exempt from labelling requirements in Europe.
These thermal insulation sheets have low heat-storage capacity, very low thermal conductivity and can be used in applications where they are in direct contact with flame. This makes them ideal for use as kiln linings or heat-treatment furnace linings.
